Waiting for Éva

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break. An Ancient Chinese Belief

    Package Tracking

FYI - Apparently, someone is tracking the package and said it went out this morning from CCAA and should be in the U.S. by Thursday.

    PINCH ME!!!

This morning when I awoke, I went to see if the CCAA website had been updated... and

    OH MY GOSH, IT HAD!!!

This means, our referral is on its way. I believe it makes its way to Washington, to Faith International, then onto our local agency. We’ll receive the call from them to pick it up. I’m sure we’ll be a bundle emotions. I’ll post her picture, as soon as we receive it.

I can't believe it; we've been waiting for so long.

Every night when I say my prayers, I ask God to comfort her and give her a kiss from us. And let her know that her Mom and Dad will be there soon.

    GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

NOT OFFICIAL STORK ALERT, BUT GOOD

This is very good news... if it's true.

A couple of rumors were posted today.

    • The referrals are supposed to be sent from the China Center of Adoption Affairs in a day or two.
    • The referrals will be sent on Wednesday or Thursday.

Do they mean China time? I hope so.

I don't think I'll be able to sleep until then.

    April 21, 2006

    No Stork Alert Yet.

    More rumors.

    • Multiple agencies are reporting that referrals were not mailed out on Friday
    • No final validation, but a few agencies are reporting the CCAA will be closed May 1-5

If the above are true, and we don't receive our referral next week and we have to wait until the 2nd week in May. I'm afraid...I'm very afraid. I wonder... if inpatient psychiatric care is covered under my insurance. Maybe I can be hooked up, to a nice slow drip IV.

    Incoming Flight (Perhaps)

We're still waiting for clearence from the tower but the the air traffic controllers are sounding optimistic.

A rumor has just been posted from a fellow May 31ster, she received a call from her agency, stating she would have her referral by Wednesday, the 26th.

The CCAA website is currently down, this seems to occur, when referrals are about to be mailed out. Is it being updated?

I'll keep you informed of the ETA.

    Waiting for Take-Off.

    My personal opinnion...
I believe the stork is on the runway, awaiting approval for take-off. There simply aren't enough rumors circulating, for me to believe, referrals will be mailed out this week. See what I mean...

    When will I ever learn?
    PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE,PATIENCE,
    PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE,PATIENCE, PATIENCE,
PATIENCE, PATIENCE,PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE,PATIENCE,PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE.

    The Crazy Lady Has Returned.

Poor Ron, it's that time of the month again... and he thought the PMS lady was bad. This lady needs a padded cell.

    Rumor
Several agencies expect referrals next week.

Will we have reason to celebrate? I hope so.

    The Butterflies are Back

They're back! I do believe, I feel the butterflies, fluttering about in my stomach again. The rumor mill has begun, this usually occurs about a week before referrals are sent.

I'm ready to get off of this crazy roller coaster ride, but Ill wait until the ride comes to a complete stop before I exit.

    • One of the large agencies notified their clients that they believe the CCAA is working on their next batch of referrals which they believe includes May 31 (that's us) and the first week of June LID's. They say they have no further information as to whether more June dates will be included.
    • Another of the big agencies sent an email to their clients saying they expect the CCAA to send referrals at the end of next week (HOO-RAY!!!!). This agency did not know which dates would be covered.

    Early Rumor

Usually rumors don't begin until a week or so before referrals are sent. It may not be accurate, but I'll take it.

Next referrals coming earlier than expected . . . This one's pretty vague if you ask me, but I keep hearing it (and I'm always partial to the "good" rumors) so I'll pass it along. Basically a few folks have heard from their agencies that the CCAA is already hard at work on the next set of matches and they won't be waiting until the end of April to send them out. One agency (it's small so I can't give the name in case it exposes the person who passed the info to me) said they expect referrals next week (first week of April).
