Waiting for Éva

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break. An Ancient Chinese Belief

    Adoption?

Adoption was never in our plan to start a family but it was in God's plan. One day when we were at church, a family with a biological son and two adopted daughters, one from Central/South America and the other from Asia, were sitting in front of us. I noticed how the mother was looking at her daughter. She was talking to her and playing with her hair. I could see how much she loved her. It was very touching. I thought about that for quite some time. I believe, the seed was planted in my heart at that time. I later requested some information about International Adoption from an agency. Ron was unaware of this, until this HUGE packet came in the mail. I simply told him, I wanted to find out some information and not to worry,I wasn't going to fill out the application. I left that paperwork sitting around the house for a couple of days perhaps weeks, hoping he would do a little investigating himself. You see, I needed to do a little planting myself. I never brought the subject up, I just waited... Well, the seed was planted and began to germinate. Soon we will have our own little sprout.
