CCAA

The China Center of Adoption Affairs has updated their website.

"The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before April 25, 2005".

Our LID (Log in Date) is 05/31/2005. I'm not quite sure if this is good news or not. Rumor has it, referrals will not be mailed out in the month of February due to Chinese New Year. We may have to wait until March to receive it. I' hope this isn't true but it's all in God's hands. His timing is perfect

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We traveled to Fulton Illinois to spend Christmas with Ron's family.
We received several baby items. I'm sure next year will be even more enjoyable, when we can celebrate the holidays with our daughter!!! That still sounds strange to me.

We're still waiting.

We received emails from or travel companions. One email stated, she spoke to Ginny from Family Counseling Clinic and we should receive our referral before Chinese New Year which is January 29th. So far, so good..

We will travel with 4 other families on our journey to Éva. We're getting very excited.

Hopefully we'll recieve our referral in mid-January.

Ron spoke to Ginny at Family Counseling Clinic. She thought we should recieve our referal by mid-January. One never knows for sure but remaining optimistic.
